Catching five minutes here to give you all a shout!! Hope all is well in your world. Mine has been a little hectic lately, but sure, better to be busy than idle – especially in this business!!

I’ve just came in from my final basketball game before the tour. Can’t believe the tour has crept up on us again. I’m gonna miss the basketball games – maybe I’ll get the lads to take it up on tour…..mmmm…maybe some of the new crew will play…that could be my better bet…

Well, it’s been a hectic few weeks here and I’m writing this as we fly from Dallas to Charlotte – flight 12 out of 14 in the two week promo trip – you know me and airports so you can imagine how delighted I am about that!! Although, touch wood (or aluminium tray table) my case has appeared on the conveyor belt at the other side every time!! I’m now realise I’m guaranteed to lose it all on the way home!

As some of you may be aware, back here in The Moy I’m a member of the local GAA club, called An Mhaigh Tir na N’Óg. This is the club which I grew up playing football for from the age of six to, well, let’s just say older than six (I had to stop playing a few years ago when I left and joined the Celtic Thunder circus!!), and so it has played a very important role in my life and is very close to my heart.

I’m writing this blog, sitting outside in the sun, with a cold drink, watching the Wimbledon tennis semi-finals on my laptop! It’s the simple pleasures in life that make me happy!! Oh, and the World Cup Football semis are back on tomorrow…the disappointment of the NBA Finals is getting a little easier to take….. ; )

Thought I’d touch base with you all to keep you up to date with how things have been going over the last few weeks.

It’s been quite a busy few weeks, with the recording of CT’s Christmas and Celtic albums taking up quite a bit of time. I think we all came away from the sessions pretty happy. I obviously can’t divulge any information about the tracks themselves, but there are some classics on there and some surprises as well – but sure would you expect it any other way from us?!!

Well, I'm sort of coming back down to earth eventually following an amazing few days in South Florida for Superbowl XLIV. I've been to quite a few big sporting events and finals before in soccer, Gaelic Football, Rugby, Baseball and of course saw my beloved Celtics win the World Championship at the new Boston Garden in 2008, but I must say that this was the most incredible event I have ever been to!!

Just to let you know I'm still alive!! I got my Mac back today from the Mac Store. It's like getting a limb sewn back on!!! My iphone was ok for checking any important emails, but didn't really cut it for updating Facebook, Twitter, MySpace and blogging here!!
