A fall Tour Greeting - November 30, 2011

Well everyone, how are we all doing? It amazes me how fast all the time goes and looking back just how much has happened. It doesn't seem that long ago that i was looking forward to The BIG Fall tour. Here' i am now doing a blog in the Middle part of the Christmas Tour. Makes me wonder where i should begin……. So i think, maybe the Summer………

Barra and Other Stuff - July 5, 2011

Hi all thanks for all the lovely comments and questions about my Barra weekend. Barra was nothing other than what i was expecting…….. An Amazing couple of days. Just so little to do, it's one of those places where you can slow life down and just enjoy the beauty of the raw nature around you. I've been going there now so often that a lot of the locals are greeting me like i live there, LOL. The ferry takes 5 hours from Oban, (about 2.5 hours drive from Glasgow). I played a solo gig on the Friday and a duet with Fiona, the girl who has been playing fiddle with me for the last 11 years.

The White Rose - June 22, 2011

Hi to you all. Hey it's been a wee while since i've been on with a blog. Where has all the time gone? I can't believe how busy i've been this year, with the launch of Celtic Thunder in Australia and New Zealand. We were over there doing Promo work for the release of the original Celtic Thunder the Show and Take me Home recordings. It was amazing to be on the other side of the world. Carrie and Sarah came out to meet me when i was there and we stayed for another couple of weeks touring round and visiting a few friends who emigrated there from Glasgow.

Happy Easter - April 25, 2011

Hi all. Happy Easter. Hope you're all doing well. I'll be in the studio next week working on my solo CD, to completion i hope. There's still a lot to do on it but fingers crossed. Thanks for all you questions and thoughts on it. I don't want to give too much away regarding it's content yet………. Or should i just tell all?…… I can't wait. I'm working on opening a web page too.

Still in Australia - April 7, 2011

Well hi all. I'm still in Australia at the moment. We had a great time with the launch of the original Celtic Thunder DVD and Take me Home, all so exciting. It's so amazing to see how far we've all come. The original "Foxes caught in the headlights" to the flamboyant, over confident at times, crew we've become……… Thanks to all your support as ever.

2011 - January 19, 2011

Well, it's time for my first big hello of the New Year. Where has it all gone? (feel like i'm asking that question all the time these days). The end of an old year where we left some old family and friends but time to move on..

Hi all - November 30, 2010

Hi to every one. Well here's over due blog. I can't believe that 3 months have passed since i left Scotland, now there's just over a week left. Where did the time go?
Sarah told me on the phone that she has started ticking off the days till i get home. I can't wait. She said that the snow in Scotland is not the same without Daddy being there to build a snowman with her. I guess that Carrie is just not that artistic (hope she doesn't read this).

Summer Update - July 28, 2010

As you know it’s been a bit of a sad year for my family and myself but we are beginning to live with the loosing of my Mum and Carries Dad. I don’t believe you can ever get over it but we’re “Learning to live with it” as I’m sure that’s the way any parent would want it.

Thanks - June 2, 2010

Hi all in Thunder land. As you might know i've not been around recently due to the unexpected Passing away of my Mum, Helen. I'd like to keep this first blog short. I want to thank every one for their special words of support and touching messages, the lovely cards i received and your well wishes. I was a very lucky person to have had such a wonderful Mother. She will be terribly missed for ever. She would however be disappointed in me if was not to carry on in life the way She and my Father taught me to. Thanks for all your prayers.
