Last night of Holidays - January 4, 2010
All good things come to an end. It's been great in Mexico with my family.
I have to fly back to NY tomorrow. They fly back to Dublin on Tuesday. I'll miss them a lot, it'll be a while before I get home to see them again.
Lots of CT work to do, new release in USA and Canada, original release in some other countries, PBS station visits to finalise, PBS airings to confirm of the new show and tour dates to finalise.
Going to be flat out now till March. Will have to find a weekend the kids are off school and get home to see them

This is the first time we
This is the first time we have stayed at this hotel. Its clean and tidy, but rather dated in some places. The rooms are clean and tidy, maid came in every day with clean towels. We had a nice sea view, only downside is that our room was above the entertainment which could be very loud late night, one morning we were kept awake until 1.30am as people were still sat there laughing and shouting. The food was good and a great choice for everyone, drinks served at the table. Poolside was very busy and it was a rush to get a sunbed by the pool. We witnessed a suicide jump from the 6th floor when we were there which was very distressing and ruined our holiday, He landed just below our balcony as we were on the second floor.

Just want to say thanks again for all you have done and continue to do. I am retired US Air Force and know how hard it is to be away from family, especially your kids; makes you appreciate the time with them all the more. Hope you get to see them again soon and that all goes well until then. In the mean time, thank you for the time you put into CT and making sure their fans get to see them and connect with them, it is very much appreciated.

I know how you feel and I'm only 16!:)<3<3<3:) I have the same thing with my grandparents because I barely see them and I have to wait until I get off school for break or something!!!!!!!!:)<3<3<3:) Anyway we just went back to school from Winter Break and I spent the entire week (from Christmas to the 3rd) in Somerset PA at my grandparents' house and my other grandmother I see less and I live about 8 miles from her house!!!!!:)<3<3<3:) I only spent Christmas with my grandmother and my mom's side of the family!:)<3<3<3:) I mean I seen them at other portions of the year but it's difficult I know!!!!!!!!!!:)<3<3<3:)

Hi Sharon, best wishes for a wonderful, happy and prosperous 2010. Thanks for all your blogs in 2009 and look forward to another year of keeping up with Celtic Thunder, I feel that I miss so much of what is going on, can't be a part of their lives enough. I suppose being over in Canada, we miss lots of the fun little things the fellows do back home. I cannot wait, simply cannot wait till the new CD and DVD are out, the first of STORM. Have not reserved on Amazon, but am hoping that they will be in the stores just as quickly. Look so forward to sitting down and watching the taped version of the shows I saw in T.O. They were wonderful. So happy to see Neil as part of it all, he is a cutie just like the rest of them.

Even though ive been back at work all this time..I kinda wish i was like everyone else heading back to school after Christmas Holidays, Although I enjoyed me 2 weeks Holidays earlier when i went to
Washington & Oregon for Celtic Thunder this year!!!! That was worth it in itself!
Thanks for keeping us in the loop with everything, its cool too hear about all the hard work and dedication involved in Celtic Thunder behind the scenes, You all work really hard, and its amazing, we are soo grateful and we send Many Many Thanks!! 2010 is going to be an unforgetable year ♥

Hi Sharon, I agree about all good things must come to an end. I as well have to go back to work tomorrow. Sounds like you've had a great vacation though.
Good luck on your flights & I hope all your work gets done. You sound like you'll be very busy for the next few months. We all can't wait for the release of the new DVD here in British Columbia, as well as the PBS station shows, looking forward to seeing them as well as the tour dates, we hope British Columbia is included in them.
Take care & if you need to take a few breaths to de-busy yourself even for 5 mins, do it......Good Luck to you for the next little while......
