January 12, 2010- NEW YORK,NY --Hailed as BILLBOARD’s Top world music artist and Top World Imprint of 2009, the phenomenon that is Celtic Thunder has achieved sales of 500,000 copies to date.  Celtic Thunder: The Show and Act Two, both released on Decca Records in 2008, are still in the Top 10 of Billboard’s (US) Top World Albums chart after debuting at #1.  Their 2009 CD and DVD release, Take Me Home, debuted at #1 in July and has remained firmly ensconced in the World Albums Top Ten.  

Bringing together their affinity for a great popular song with their outstanding live performances, acclaimed vocal quintet Celtic Thunder pay homage to cherished musical entertainers of past and present on their most ambitious project to date,  IT'S ENTERTAINMENT.   An impressive new CD and DVD, the spectacular musical review was filmed in front of a live audience in Toronto  and spans six decades of musical styles of a diverse array of artists, with a set list to satisfy fans of all ages.   Fans will be enthralled by unique interpretations of classics such as "Standing on the Corner" alongside pop numbers such as U2's "Still Haven't Found (What I'm Looking For)," The Proclaimers' "My Life Without You" and Leonard Cohen's timeless gem "Hallelujah."  

IT’S ENTERTAINMENT will also be broadcast on PBS in March during their pledge drive.
