Hey Ladies!!! Sorry it took me so long to notice your questions. I've been on Twitter voting 20 hours a day and chatting and answering questions there. So much that for the second time now Facebook has banned me from posting anything on any wall they are affiliated with. I can still vote tho so it's not ALL bad! Personally I think someone is just jealous and punishing me for being lucky enough to wake up to Ryan's gorgeous voice! I outsmarted them tho....if you go to the vote wall and see John Arnold...that's my hubby and I'm using his FB to post. Say hey!!!

Anyway, on to better subjects. To those who asked here are your answers, to those who didn't I'm not boasting or trying to rub anyone's noses in anything.....well.....maybe just a little????

The call came at 11:05 am Good thing I asked for 11 as I was up until 4:30 unable to sleep and voting. Hey at least I used my excitement induced insomnia for good huh? We talked for 22 minutes and 20 seconds. (I'll wait for y'all to quit laughing....) Yes I saved the phone call, no I couldn't tape it as I don't have that function on my cell. Momof6, (We have 5 ALL girls!)I was on cloud 9 all weekend waiting. I really thought I'd be so freaked out I'd do nothing but stammer. But it was not like that. Ryan was so sweet he put me immediately at ease. Kind of like talking to a long lost pal. We got IE delivered Sat. and spent all day and all night watching it warming up. That was the first thing that Ryan and I talked about. He asked if I had gotten and watched it yet and what I thought about it. (Well DUH!!! lol) I told him that it was a little too short, we can never get enough, but that we (told him about my girls here) had it memorised all ready. Also said that I understood that they were trying to step out of their comfort zone a little and do something different, but that we'd all love to hear a cd/dvd of JUST folk music. I asked if they were going to tour Storm and he said not this year but maybe in the future. He asked me about the kids and I ran down ages etc. He talked about starting the promo tour for It's entertainment next month but didn't know exact dates/cities yet. At some point (really all still a blur so forgive me if I jump around or ramble) I said something about being afraid that I was going to sound like an idiot and Ryan, true gentleman that he is, assured me that I was doing just fine by his account (OHHHH the accent!!! He was giggling at me at the same time tho lol) Throughout the phone call I was beating the snot out of my 16 yr olds leg and pointing at the phone mouthing OMG OMG OMG OMG. I told him of my scottish/Ulster scot heritage and we got to talking about geneology. He said that he had no idea of his roots but wanted to do some digging of his own. I told him to get on it in all that spare time that he has. lol I asked him about Christmas with Jesus, Broken Things and Village that They Call the Moy, and he told me about recording them in his bedroom studio and that they weren't very good recordings (I won't go into the thoughts running through my head when he said bedroom ). I assured him that we were thrilled and asked if he had any intentions of putting out a solo album. Responded that he'd like to but that there was not much time available with all that they do. I told him that all y'all sent your love and best wishes and compliments on the new show. Sent messages to George from me about "The Old Man", Damian from my 14 and 4 yr olds abt "Bird Without Wings", Paul from the 4 yr old abt "Doo Whacka Doo" (she can't get through the first bar without falling out in hysterics), and he promised to pass it all on. I asked him about a site/email where I could send him a thank you note as I noticed he doesn't blog in here often. He told me to use his myspace and friend him there as he reads those messages (more beating of the 16 yr old here.....Ryan? my FRIEND!!!!) I told him I'd have to get a myspace page then (16 yr old jumps over to the computer and had me signed up before we got off the phone....she is 16 but has moments of greatness!!!! TY Sandi for the lessons and your unending patience Sunday! Mommy loves you!). Then we just started winding down...he said his time was running out and the phone was gonna cut him off and I thanked profusely for the call told him I was looking forward to the tour this fall. He thanked for being a fan and we said goodbye! Then I spent the rest of the weekend pointing at the TV everytime he came on and screaming "HE CALLED ME!!!!! and calling everyone I knew telling them all about it.

Ok....that's about it. I hope I answered all ur questions...if I missed one ask and if I think of anything else I'll repost.
