Howdy ya'll, i hope that you are all behaving per usual and not doing anything that I wouldn't do!!!
I've been kept busy the past few week's doing anything and everything, to stay active. I wrote quite a cool wee tune last night on my 12 string fender, there is a class sound outa it and I'm glad i own it. It's funny sometimes when you lift a different guitar and just get a completely different buzz outa it and write a style of song that you wouldn't normally, (well thats my excuse for owning all those guitarz!!!)!
The surf Hasn't been all that great since i got home which is a pity but i reckon that when i come home from the promotional trip in the states i will be rewarded greatly from the gods..................................
come and see the rest of the blog @ www.keithharkin.com
thanks a million
Keith

Your show is amazing - had the opportunity to see you last week in Hamilton. The music means so much to me b/c I too am Celtic. Living in Ontaro now but I grew up in Cape Breton Nova Scotia. 19 of us attended the show - I think we filled all of row 8 so I had a great view. I have your dvd playing right now - nothing lke some good ol' down home tunes to brighten up the day. Spent a lot of time in Ireland -I lived and backpacked through Europe several times - had a ball in Ireland (man you guys can drink - I had to dry out - lol - fun times none the less).
Anyway - just a short note to tell ya your music rocks!
P.S. - you have the coolest hair ever!!

Concerts... <3
My sister Mary is so excited that you and the group are comming down to Georgia! She is crazy about you... when a song of yours comes on we all have to be quiet while you sing... She and I are saving up some money to come see you all in concert in October!!!
New Stuff
Sooooooo excited about the new albums coming out! I never get tired of hearing you guys sing....you're professionals, but you also have such an amazing connection with your audience. Like you're bringing the audience into the performance so we feel like your friends. You have so much fun up there and it's obvious to us. I think that's the difference....it's fun for you and it shows. You're not "working".
So we'll be there in Anaheim, CA having fun with you!
By the way, it's May, Keith. Time for a new blog!
New Celtic Thunder Fan
Hello Keith: Just wanted to let you know that I enjoy the song, "lauren and I" and I am fairly new fan of Celtic Thunder. I volunteer and support my local Binghamton, New York PBS, WSKG and have seen your concerts on the station and have supported the station by purchasing the DVDs and CDs of all my Celtic Thunder. I just got my Its Entertainment DVD/CD in the mail this weekend and I love it. I love Damian's singing "HOME" and "Standing on the Corner" and I love the Beach Boy melody and guitar playing you do on the DVD and "Hard to Say Goodbye" and love the "Hallelujah" that you, Ryan, and Neil sing and I love "Ireland's Call" and I enjoy the song the group sing "I still haven't found what I am looking for." and George's "500 miles" and "Life with You" and I love the railroad song and Ryan's "Leroy Brown" and "I'll be watching you". The only thing that I was disappointed in is that the skit where George is looking for a husband for his daughter skit was not featured in the DVD. I would have loved to hear Damian sing "Look At Me". I had gotten word from someone not long ago that you all were here in the Binghamton area in 2008 and had I known I would have been there. However, I hear you, Paul, Damian, Neil, George, and Ryan will be here on December l0 and I am very excited about that. Will be saving my pennies and try to lay hints on my sister that I would consider money towards coming to see Celtic Thunder as a great Christmas present from her. Until then, keep up the great work and the music and keep the thunder rolling. Sue at ladyabigail59@yahoo.com

Rephrasing
4/6/2010:
In part, you sound like a Texas, with that greeting! You act like a Californian, with the surfing and the guitar-collecting and playing! Still, I love the Irish accent, which when you say certain words, while singing, comes through. I like it! I don't know if you are into professional wrestling or not, but you should watch the DVD, on John Morrison. He surfs, and he wrestles, on WWE's Friday Night Smackdown. You should see his workout routine and regimen. Is that the way you work out or some of it, rather?
Can't wait for the new stuff! Loved the pictures of you, where you were not in a suit, on your website: www.keithharkin.com, which I found here, on this website. They were cool! Best wishes, and cudos!

HEY!!!
Hey i just want 2 wish u a happy easther!
Hi yah Keith
Hey there handsome, well we haven't heard from you lately, which I hope means you are enjoying a bit of a break, but maybe you are doing the recording for the Xmas CD, can't wait until that one comes out. I would even play it right now, Christmas or not.
Hope that you are getting in some surfing, or maybe you are in California enjoying some sun and surf if you are lucky. Whatever you may be doing, hope you are happy and enjoying some time to yourself, big tour coming up in the fall and I am so darn, incredibly, amazingly excited to see you at Rama on Sept 24th. Don't want summer to rush by, but I can hardly wait till Sept arrives to see all of you.
You are one talented, handsome young man and fit in with the lads incredibly well, you all perform together superbly and singly like a dream. Never, ever tire of looking at you. Love your green suit and all your moves. Cheers and take care, wishing you a Happy Spring.
Hugs Kathie from Rama

Celtic Thunder is so awesome, I can't belive some people have never heard of you guys! On Quizilla.com I made a poll seeing which bands most people think are the best. Not many people have taken it, but so far Celtic Thunder is winning just like I knew it would.

How many guitars do you even have?

Keith, u r AWESOME!!!!!! = )
Senior Citizen
Keith, You are a ray of sunshine in this Senior Citizen’s life. I am old enough to be your Grandmother. And yet when I started buying tickets for the upcoming Celtic Thunder tour I felt and acted like a 12 year old girl. After all I am sending you this message. Does that sound like the work of a sane 66 year old? I think not !! I have all 3 of CT’s DVDs. They make me laugh, cry and even get chills down my spine at times. I am looking forward to seeing you in October in Hartford, CT and hopefully at the Meet and Greet in Springfield, MA.
Another senior citizen!
I am also a big fan of you and the other "BOYS". I have seen you on all three previous tours - in Cleveland, Ohio; in Chaleston, W.Va.; and in Pittsburgh, Pa. We have tickets for the 2010 fall tour in Buffalo, N.Y. and in Pittsburgh again. We also are going to Hershey, Pa. in Oct. and possibly to Trump's Taj Mahal in Dec. Love your talents - writing songs, singing, playing guitars, etc. Am looking forward to your individual cd ( hope it will be released soon!) I also love your blonde hair and big dimples. You are a great looking young man. Thanks for sharing your life with us - you bring much joy to many people of all ages!
"Hallelujah" - IT'S ENTERTAINMENT
Just finished viewing the videos of seven other performers of "Hallelujah" at www.Parade.com/sing
and no one, that's spelled NO ONE, can come close to matching the awesome version by you, Ryan and Neil from the new dvd/cd. The close harmony is beautiful...hope the three of you get together again in the future because your trio work is very, very pleasing to hear.
Sincerely, Betty, a devoted fan from Ohio/USA
hallelujah

Cannot Wait
Hello Keith,
Thank you for the wonderful music. I cannot wait to hear more.
My name is Lauren Hren and I just wanted to say how glorious it feels to have a song with my name in it. Especially when you perform it. I cannot wait til Celtic Thunder comes to the Atlanta Fox Theatre. You and the rest of the gentlemen are a truly a talented sort.
Keep up the great work,
Lauren Hren
All the best
Hi Keith,
I'm sure you are in a whirlwind of traveling, performances, etc. Hope you get to have fun along the way.
I'm not one of the younger ladies who swoon - I'm a 64 year old woman - who can still swoon a wee bit.
LOL!
I really enjoy watching and listening to you perform. My best friend's name is "Lauren" and I'm a wee bit jealous as she is now imortalized in song.
Keep on chasing your dream, and keep writing your songs. Although not a surfer, I love the sea and feel a very stong connection. There is a saying I hold dear and thought I'd pass it on to you.
"Whatever you loose, but it a you or a me. It's always ourselves we find in the sea."
Thanks for the many hours of great pleasure through your music and performances.
St. Patricks Day
Wishing you and the rest of Celtic Thunder a Happy St. Patricks Day i love you guys so much your all so very talented, me and my family love you all, everytime theres something on the T.V. about you we watch it we have all your CDs and DVDs me and my dad know every song by heart almost we sing them all the time, we would all love to meet you one day it would be amazing, lol it would be an amazing birthday present if i ever got to meet you all specially you and Damian your my favorites my mum has a thing for Ryan though, lol she would be fuming if she knew i said that. you all are amazing men keep up the good work with Celtic Thunder, i hope to see you all soon here in Kansas, although id like it better in irland, my familys of irish ancestry, and im proud to say that.HAPPY ST. PATRICKS DAY, i lvoe you guys.
WOW WOW WOW
Good morning Keith...do you read these emails to you? Just wondering if you all get a chance to read and enjoy all the wonderful things we have to say to you and to all the lads.
I just watched you on Canada AM, which I was sooooooooo excited to see. My god you guys were amazing and such good close up shots of you. I was extremely disappointed in CTV that they didn't introduce you fellows or chat with you, just one song to tease us and that was it. Wow, that was hard to digest. But you all did your usual great job and it just left us wanting more.
You are a doll, and never tire of seeing you perform. I always say, I am too old for you, but will not stop loving to watch you sing and act as you do so well.
Love to all of you, safe trip back to Ireland and look forward to being able to maybe meet you again at Casino Rama as I did last time.
HAPPY ST. PATTIES DAY, Keith you are so charming.
Kathie

Great Idea!
4/6/2010:
Great idea! He could start, with the soundtrack, from Young Guns 2! Not only that, he could do some songs, with Jon Bon Jovi and B. B. King too, with Celtic Thunder!

Kindest of regards, OliviaMarie
doing my part..
Hi Keith,
I have just played your new DVD Its Entertainment several times this evening. Have to admit tho' Hallelujah is my fav and I've played that one a dozen times or more. Did you catch k.d. langs performance of the song in the opening ceremonies of the Vancouver Olympics? Lauren is another favorite of mine.
We play your CDs at my workplace and we are always asked "whose music is this?" We proudly tell them who
and where to pick up your cds...It's like we have a "best kept secret." Women and men of all ages find it
easy listening, uplifting, inspirational, romantic and sometimes powerful and moving. Thank you for making such great music and I look forward to a concert in this neck of the woods.
