Celtic Thunder is hitting the road with live appearances at PBS stations across the country over the next two weeks. Local PBS stations will be showcasing the new Celtic Thunder show, It's Entertainment and we'll be there to support PBS with live pledge breaks. They were on KLRU in Austin, TX, on the 11th as well.

I expect they will be on at least one more time during this fund-raising session. I taped the show, am going to see if I can't find the DVD today (don't know if it is available in stores yet), but I can't afford the $75 for PBS to get it.

I just bought MEET AND GREETS last night for the raleigh/durham show!!! I am so excited!! Did anyone else watch the charlotte pbs station and see paul and damian laughing after damian performed Home? They looked like they were having so much fun!

Celtic Women and Celtic Thunder are produced by different production companies and Sharon Browne has said that she does not anticipate that they will ever appear together. It is not in her plans as the groups are completely different in musical stylings.

Celtic Thunder IS Performing on The Early Show this Saturday, March 13th. You can even call to get free tickets to be in their audience. The show is from 7-9am EST and taped in NYC... You can go to The Early Show website to book your spot in the audience.

Hello,Yesterday afternoon I watched Keith and Neil on WGBH Boston, looked like they were having a great time together and Keith is so funny I noticed there was an audience there.Just curious as to was it first come first serve type thing or did you have to make a pledge to the station to be in attendance.
I would have loved to have been in that audience and have a chance to meet Keith and Neil:) Maybe some of the attendees could let us know what the day was like

WGBH taping

To get into the WGBH taping you did have to make a pledge, I took my 14 yr. old daughter, it was amazing.
We had a tour of WGBH, we were in the audience for the taping that you see on tv, pictures w/Keith & Neil and lunch w/Keith, Neil & Sharon (who is very nice).
The guys were great, it was alot of fun.

Thanks for that Court1111:) I think it's so awesome that they do things like that:) It makes the fans feel so much closer to them and gives fans a chance to get to know the Lads (and Sharon) a little better. My daughters ( I have 4) and I would love to have an opportunity such as that:)

if u asked which song i like the best i can't say for sure of course i grew up on surfur music and when DAmian sang the songs like puppy love all that era i grew up too! but, ryan did bad leroy brown igrew up on that one too! also, he also sings desperado which if u like country music and the oldies i know so many people that in country music sung deparado did a fantastic job on them too. but, paul was great to George excellant this group is so talented i expected that they will be around be around for a long time. can't wait for the Irish cd or dvd. plus the christmas cd. good luck in ur travels and all ur endeavers. but, please send emails to me. i'm haveing a hard time reaching u guys alot on emails. so drop me a line or two.

I was so very fortunate to be at the local PBS station here in Maryland on both 2/27 and 2/28 to volunteer for the pledge drives. I had the pleasure to meet Keith,Neil,and Sharon. They are such wonderful,kind people. Neil is SUCH a sweetheart and just a joy to speak with! Keith and Neil were so kind and generous in speaking and meeting their fans...as always! I have to say that is one thing that just makes me love CT and appreciate them even more. No matter how much the success grows...(and boy has it ever1!!!)all of the lads just remain as kind,down to earth,generous as I can imagine they were before they hit the big time!

Keep Up The GREAT job lads and continued success and blessings as you continue on this AMAZING journey!

Meeting Keith and Neil!!!!!!

Yesterday was amazing - I got to miss school and meet KEITH and NEIL.
They are awesome, the day was great at WGBH in Boston, I was in the audience for the taping of their pledge drive, they sang to us and we ate lunch w/them and Sharon.
I got my picture taken w/both and Keith smells great!!!!!

Thank-you to WGBH for hosting, to Celtic Thunder for the meet and greet and to my mom for taking me.
Can't wait for the show in October.

More Meet & Greets for Durham, NC Available!

I saw a few places that folks said UNC-TV-Research Triangle sold out of MGs for the Durham concert which will be on 11/17. GOOD NEWS - thanks to Sharon Browne, WTVI will be selling MGs for the Durham concert as well on their station Wed, 3/10 at 8 pm. Also, the information will be posted on www.wtvi.org this week. I believe the MGs are 200 or 225 each. PLEASE support WTVI-Charlotte with this pledge drive...there isn't a concert scheduled in Charlotte because the promoters have not been able to book a venue. WTVI is pulling a lot of things together to make this happen for CT, CT FANS & working feverishly on this. *****

My tickets cost $190. It's for a pair of orchestra tickets. It's not the meet and greet package. That was $500 (wow!!!!)

I read about your experience meeting Keith and Neil. How cool! And yes I loved talking on the phone with Keith. He was so sweet to do that

Thank you Brenda B. When I called the WLIW volunteer yesterday he told me that none of the show is live and that no one is there live as well. He seems to be the only one that answers the phone. I will just assume that it is being broadcast from the NYC studio and that Keith and Neil are live. Thanks again!

The airing will be LIVE tonight at 9:00! They have 12 volunteers, not taking anymore & there will not be an audience. Wanted to let you know that you will see them on TV tonight...hope that helps a bit! Please let me know how the viewing goes!!

Some stations pre recorded the pledge breaks with the guys I know WGBH and a Portland Station did. It is possible that WLIW has done the same thing.

Thank you for this! We watched the local KCET (Los Angeles) air IE 3/7 with Ryan and George. Last night I played the DVD in its entirety. To our surprise another IE aired tonight on KOCE (Orange County;) although all the guys (Neil too) were present for this. "Pre-recorded earlier" did appear from time to time.

I was trying fo figure out when and how they got all five together - makes sense if they hop-scotched up or down the West Coast. I gather the call bank (for this initial recording) was fully functioning (or for our benefit later?)

Having all six added an increased vibe - it was fun to watch.

I can't seem to find out a time and I so don't want to miss them Will it be aired tonight or are they recording it to be aired at a later date? Watching my PBS station in New Jersey, love seeing Keith, and Neil. Got my tickets for A.C. pre-show meet & greet and front row seats. Enjoying my DVD of It's Entertainment Doing the happy dance!!! Keith and Neil are doing an awesome job, they look very relaxed and happy to be there! Love Keith's smile, these guys put a smile on my face with their great voices, love all the songs, and the band too!!!

I purchased the premium tickets as well and I am soooo excited! I really wanted to make sure I was able to get a pre-show meet and greet SOMEWHERE, so this will be cool. I am from Roseland NJ, are you from Jersey too? Neil and Keith were so charming and funny tonight on NJN. They said that they will be maling the tickets in 4 to 6 weeks with the tickets and the info on the pre-show reception. Did you get a confirmation #? I was just thinking that I didn't get anything, just gave my credit card. I am so excited!

Hi, I am so excited too, yes I am from New Jersey too. I lived in Hoboken up until last year when I moved to Brick. Keith had me laughing, he is so funny, loved Keith and Neil singing. My daughter was the one who actually called for the tickets, this is my birthday present as my birthday is Dec 2 . I don't think they gave her a confirmation # either. I hope we can meet at the show Karen, it's nice to meet people who also appreciate these wonderful guys, and enjoy their talent.

Me too...I would love to meet you, so way off though!! I do appreciate CT so much, such beautiful voices and faces. What a thoughtful gift from your daughter. I am actually working the phones in Wilkes Barre Friday nite. The guys are suppose to be there....nervous, yet excited. Don't know what to say if I have the chance to speak with them!! I believe the cost varies from locations, I had seen that 2 M&G pre-show were $500.00 in one location, here it was $175.00 per ticket. I have already attended 2 shows, and I knew for this one I wanted the M&G. I hope this is helpful. Keith, and Neil did a great job, and I am sure George and Ryan will do the same....enjoy!!!

Pledge amounts differ from

Pledge amounts differ from station to station so they may not be the same across the country. Also, each station may not offer the same premium pledge gifts, such as meet and greets and premium tickets. It is up to each station to determine what they are going to do.
