Back to Work - April 12, 2010
Hello,
Back in NY, back working. Lots to do to finalise this tour schedule. There are 3 east Canadian dates being worked on in June and a few in Fall, will provide details as soon as I get them.
Hoping to have all the dates finalised this week. Lots of dates going on sale today too. Links are being put up on the site, some are slow to send us their url for tix sales this time.
Hoping Paul had a lovely Birthday yesterday, Sunday's a nice day for a birthday.
All good right now

As reporters have frequently
As reporters have frequently pointed out, Mr. Clinton has always been an omnivorous reader of books, journalism, academic and governmental studies, and adept at drawing useful connections among highly disparate subjects. His prescriptions here for creating jobs and addressing the debt problem reflect those habits, while hewing to a basically centrist outlook.

Periods of time spent in FÁS
Periods of time spent in FÁS and Failte Ireland training courses, Community Employment, Tús, Social Economy Programme, Job Initiative, Rural Social Scheme, VTOS, Teargas, FIT and Back to Education Schemes are accepted as qualifying periods provided you were entitled to a qualifying payment before starting on the study or training. The Department of Social Protection also counts time spent on the Community Services Programme provided you were getting a qualifying social welfare payment for at least half of the qualifying period.

It feels like everyone's a little (ha!) discombobulated about getting back to normal life after whatever kind of spring break (and maybe Passover or Easter) celebrations you had. I got off scot-free (my kids went away for a week with their dad, and then we went out for dim sum for Easter dinner) so I'm just my normal harried self. But I know some of you have had some experiences that ranged from quietly diminishing to rage-inducing.

In this case, the town needed
In this case, the town needed someone who could do the job right away and there was no indication the injured officer would ever be able to come back. As a result, the employment contract was frustrated because the officer was unable to fulfill his job requirements. However, the situation may have been different if it was a larger police department — perhaps it would have been able to afford to keep the officer on the payroll a little longer. Frustration of contract and undue hardship is a moving target and never the same.

Canadian Shows
Would love to see the guys come back out West to either Vancouver or Victoria!!!! We'll keep our fingers crossed that the tour dates added in the fall will be for Western Canada & BC in particular.
Keep up the great work & we're glad you had a terrific time in San Francisco with Sandra.
Take care & hello to all the CT Team from their fans in Victoria BC!!!!
Exited Aussie fan
Hi Sharon,
I discovered Celtic Thunder on Youtube before christmas and fell in love with them. I bought Dvds as gifts for all my family and they are fans as well. I don't think there are too many of us Celtic Thunder fans in Australia yet but I am doing my bit to spread the word. But the really exciting thing is that my family and I will be in the USA at the time of the fall tour and are eagerly waiting for ticketmaster sales for the Baltimore concert. My sons are hoping they will get to meet the guys. Is an Australian tour an idea that has ever been entertained because I am sure their poularity would build very quickly - we love our Celtic music in Australia and good wholesome family entertainment is valued.

Donna a DVD was just released
Donna a DVD was just released in February - It's Entertainment.
Celtic Thunder the Show was released in 2008 and was on PBS/TV back then as well, the DVD is also available via Amazon, Borders, & Barnes and Noble and that show toured back in 2008 through the US. I believe it was just certified Platinum in Canada!

Concert Tickets!
Sharon (nice name by the way;)
Thanks for the info on the tickets. I recently ordered my tickets for the Kansas City and Fort Smith concerts! Can't wait for fall to get here...can't wait to see the boys! I recently saw them on PBS and was hooked. I had to go out and buy all their CD's and DVD's. I've watched them so much that I've got my sister hooked on them now. I was hoping to go to the Hershey PA concert and now those tickets are available - yahooo!!!
Thanks for all you do to keep our boys singing! Hope you all make it to Tulsa sometime soon. We have the new BOK Center that is just waiting for the boys to come visit!

Atlantic City and Eastern Canada in June
Yes, I was wondering about Atlantic City, too, since I have seen it listed other places. And, I'm glad to hear that a potential eastern Canada (and, maybe (fingers-crossed) northeast US) trip is still in the works. Thanks for keeping us all as up to date as you can.
Concert dates
Hi Sharon! I know you are working feverishly to finalize the concert dates. As I looked under the "Tour" section of this website, it does not mention Atlantic City...is there something special/different about that particular event? Thanks for all of your hard work and I love the updates!
WoooHooo!
Hi Sharon, I see that you are on the go as always, still don't know how you do it, what a life...sounds very exciting. What great news to hear that CT will be doing some Canadian Tour dates, we will all be so darn happy. I know I will make one of them, hopefully the others will be near enough to get in to see as well.
CAN WE EVER GET ENOUGH OF OUR BOYS? NEVER.
I hope that you are getting some time for a break here and there. Any news on getting on Ellen Degeneris yet. I saw today the trio Crystal Swing, Mother, daughter, son team from Ireland. Hey our boys are much better, we need them on there. I hope soon.
Cheers to all and for keeping us informed and up to date.

Awesome work you do getting everything ready:)
Where exactly is East Canada ?
When you say East Canadian dates do you mean the eastern provinces, which are Nova Scotia,New Brunswick,P.E.I., Newfoundland ? Or are you referring to Central Eastern Canada which would be parts of Ontario? Would love to see you guys come back to Cape Breton,N.S. or even Halifax,N.S.
Thanks for the updates
tour 2010
Dear Sharon,
I am wondering are there going to be more than just the 2 dates and cities for Florida you have already listed? If not it looks like I wont be getting to see CT. This will be two years in a row.
Thank You
Wonderful Sharon! Am so excited as most of us are to see those tickets go up for sale! lol
I too hope Paul had a Great Birthday and I'm real sure he did.

tickets
Sharon, Thank you for the heads up on tickets. The web page does not show which venues. How do we know which are on sale. I am a little slow at it, should be better by now after tickets to five shows. Just don't want to miss out on good seats.
Have a good one. Thanks again,
pat
