Not working today!

Bunking off work for the day followed by a night on the town seems like the perfect antidote to having not been in the humour for work this week.

Starting the weekend early, back to work with a vengeance on Monday then!

I just want to say a HUGE thank you to everybody who sent me birthday wishes. I've NEVER ever had this amount of birthday messages and each one has made my heart grow a little bigger each time. I'm so so touched. Thank you so so much guys. I woke up with a huge smile on my face.

I, like every horror movie enthusiast, eagerly awaited the arrival of "HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME" on DVD. After repeated viewings, I've grown to appreciate this early predecessor to Wes Craven's "SCREAM". That film gave absolutely no credit to this as being one of the rare horror films that redefined the many plot twists, in-jokes and even a few red herrings so popular now in this genre. Now, Columbia/TriStar did the unthinkable: they completely ditched the chilling Lance Rubin/Bo Harwood score in favor of a pointless, even cliched new score.

I never thought I would be totalled enchanted with another musical group as I am with CT--it may be your birthday and people shoud be giving you gifts, but you have given us, the public, the most wonderful gift of all--the amazing Celtic Thunder. Thank you so very much. CT is at the top of my list of must see concerts with Yanni now in second place and I never thought any group could top Yanni. It is refreshing to listen to the wonderful music sung by CT--not just the Irish songs but the wide spectrum of music they sing. With that being said, have a wonderful birthday and a nice week-end.

Of course you should take your birthday off! Mine is in 9 days. I'll be 65 and I'm taking the day off. First time I've ever asked for my birthday off! I can't figure out why. I'll be going to 2 shows this fall. I'm in the Chicago area so going to Chicago Theater. Also, I'm from Massachusetts and got 2 tickets to the Springfield Mass show and I'm introducing my cousin to CT! Can hardly wait! I'm anxious to see the final tour dates. Maybe I can fit in another one?
