Volcanic Ash!!!!!!!!!!
I do feel sometimes, like I am back in school and I know Im due to do something like homework, which I keep putting on the long finger. However, Im careful not to flatter myself into thinking that there are people anxiously waiting for my occasionally interesting thoughts(blog). Although, I know one or two will often check out what Im up to, so I would hate to disappoint.
I sometimes feel Twitter is all that people are interested these days and that blogs are far too long. 140 letters should be enough to let people know whats going on in that very instant and thats it. I wanna know who decided 140 letters was enough? Why not 160? or 100? Its like as if some extremely cool person who lives in an extremely cool place, surrounded by extremely cool people decided that if you go over 140 letters you are a bore on humanity and that you have far too much to say. Therefore should get kicked off the world wide web for 140 months as punishment. Its something worth pondering! Especially considering the person who came up with the 140 letters idea is probably an arse and works alone in a basement and dates his Cyber girlfriend whilst........................................

Wow
Umm, Paul...a bit thoughtful are we?
I actually ask myself the same question, "who decided that number was enough?" I agree all the way with your description of the guy who made it up.
lol (had to giggle)
Paul
Keep the blogs coming!! I for one can't wait to hear more of what you have to say!
Although, I know how extremely busy and hectic your schedule is these days...can't wait for you to find some spare time to let us know more of what you're thinking.
Take care,
Cassie
Denver show
Paul;
You are amazing!!!!!
I met you at the Denver show on Oct. 26. It was a pleasure and you are as great as you seem when you perform. I want to thank you too for the wonderful performance of "Sway". I had commented to you at the meet and greet what I thought about your CD performance of that song and I must say, you met and surpassed every expectation I had of what it would be like to see you do it on stage. Of course, having a front row seat to watch you was the best. Thank you for being such a great person on and off stage. I am sure you know that the publicity person told us before the meet and greet not to "pinch any bums" but if I were years younger and somewhat bolder, it would be a challenge. I was at the table where the lady had you sign her side. :
Keep up the great singing, the great personality and being an all round great person and thanks for sharing yourself with us, your fans and CT's fans.

Gentleman Indeed
My mom took my two nieces to the show in Ft. Smith Arkansas Nov. 14. And as Paul and George were walking to the meet and greet (mom didn't have tickets for that), but Paul came over and gave one of the girls a big hug. It made Jaci's day...seeing as how she is only 5 and already a big fan. Mom said it was the most sincere and kindest gesture she had ever witnessed. And since then I have been avidly kicking myself for not going along...and nursing a massive crush on Paul.
Indy show
Hi Paul. I met you last night at Indy. I've been dealing with an illness for quite some time, so I only recently discovered you and the rest of CT. You sure have put a smile on my face! Thanks for that. I can't wait to try out the Italian restaurant!
Take care, Linda

Radio City Music Hall Show
Dear Paul, I saw the show at RCMH on Oct. 1st. It was just terrific. What also made the evening special for me was when I met you while I was waiting on line to get inside. You also were gracious enough to give me your autograph, which was an added plus to my evening.
Best wishes to you and all the group. Hope to see you all at the Taj Mahal in Atlantic City Dec. 4th.

Halifax concert
Thanks Lads! The Halifax concert was brilliant. My sister and I were sitting right behind the girls at the front of the stage who were flustering Damien!! Too cute. We were glad of those seats as it seemed like you were singing a lot to just us:) Lived in Millstreet for a few years and so seeing you always brings back memories of ten pubs on one street (Only in Ireland!) and cheeky Irish men. Have a great tour.
your blog
Dear Paul, I know you are VERY busy, but just want to let you know that many of us are very much looking forward to you blogging as soon as you have time. We fans love you and love to hear from you and what is going on in your life. The whole Celtic Thunder is wonderful and give us so much pleasure. Thank you and the rest for all your hard word and sharing your wonderful gifts with us, your fans. NellieBelle1936
today's twitter
Paul, Your anger is coming out in your words. I cannot imagine why anyone would post photos or do a survey regarding your life and those around you.. these people have nothing better to do. Please know that there are many of us that respect your privacy and are thankful for the blog updates you and the remaining CT lads provide. I hope this does not ruin your American tour. I look forward to the Christmas CD and the concert I am attending in December. Margie-Ann

Mr. Byrom:

You are right that the world needs more love, of the holistic sort! I liked your rendition of You Raised Me Up and Celtic Woman's rendition of the song. I would like to hear your rendition of the entire song, sometime, with that whispery opera and Jazz voice, reminding me so much of the female musician, earlier, Pat Benetar, who trained in opera, but went into Rock-n-Roll, where as you, the male, now, went into contemporary Christian and American jazz. I say to encourage, and nothing else.
Ebensberger.
Fabulous!
I recently thought I'd give Twitter a try, and had to ponder the 140 limit, as well. Silly muffin heads.
My loving hubby introduced me to your band via PBS last year and we both fell in love with you guys! We each have our favs, for different reasons. You, dear, are mine. You open your mouth and out comes this amazing, polished, hypnotic sound. Can't help but laugh when we see you teasing the young pup, too. Your humor is even more bewitching than you voice, if you can believe that's possible. And know that we do care abot your thoughts. We're always curious about how it is you manage to remain "human" what with all the accolades. Thank you for the gifts you share.

Hey Paul
i love your blog paul and i'm sure there are thousands of others that love your blog and we love you paul your awesome
Hello from Big Sky Country...Montana
Paul--I really enjoyed your blog! I don't Twitter so having the blog is great! Sounds like you've been very busy, but I wouldn't expect anything less from the "Thunder"! I was introduced to Celtic Thunder just about a month ago, and I am an avid fan! When I first heard you sing, I told my sister that you had to have been classically trained! I knew nothing about you beyond hearing you sing, so to find out your history on the Thunder website was quite a treat to know that I was correct. I love to hear you sing! You are an awesome tenor and your wit and sense of humor is very comparable to what our family has! Maybe it has something to do with the Irish that is in our family...who knows! My cousin, sister and myself will be coming to your show when you come to Spokane, WA in November! We are quite excited to see you in person! We can hardly wait! Please keep up the blogging for those of us who don't Twitter! Take care and God bless!
A book in the future?
Paul, You know we love your wit and sense of humor, as others have mentioned. Did we also mention that some day we want you to write a book? Yep. Think about it. . . ."High Notes from the Traveling Tenor" or something to that effect. I'll buy it!!! In the meantime, how about keeping a journal? Love Ya.
hey
@SnowLeopard i totally agree with you he should write a book called high notes of the traveling tenor i would pay alot of money for that
You heard her, Paul!
See, Paul, there IS a demand! You just sold 2 books already
KateieT15, I think we also need a BobbleHead doll of Paul with the sparkly tie! Would you agree?!
Hi Paul
Just wanted to let you guys know I love your music, your're the best and you are all with me every day as I drive to work 30 miles each way. Your music keeps me sane on a busy freeway day! Thanks and can hardly wait to see you again in November here in Portland!
Luv You Guys! P.S. My favorite song of all is Nights in White Satin, even in white shoes!
DFW
I love Celtic Thunder. What a wonderfully talented group! Picked my granddaughter up at DFW on Sat. and could have sworn that you were there at baggage in your kilt and a red shirt. Am I right? I was people watching while my husband and g-daughter got her luggage!
new song
Hello!
Love the show ever since the first viewing (just three months ago!). Have you thought about recording the song, "You're My World"? I know you could do it great!
Michael
Hello
Hi Paul. I am a 16 year old irish girl... I moved and now have lived in Georgia. I LOVE Celtic Thunder and I am amazed at the beauty of the harmony all of you make. I love it when you sing Caledonia and You Raise Me Up. It is kind of creepy to watch you though because you look like my counselor... He to is Irish!
Anyways... I hope you are having fun where ever you are and good luck with the concerts to come!
Luv You Always!

New Celtic Thunder Fan
Hello, Paul: I am a fairly new Celtic Thunder fan. I enjoy the music and the concerts on my local PBS, WSKG in Binghamton, where I not only support the station but, I volunteer there as well. Thanks to their airing your concerts, I have become a Celtic Thunder fan. I love the music and I love the way you do the Josh Grobin song, "You Raise Me Up" and "DOO WACKA Doo" and I just got the latest CD and Dvd of It Entertainment and I love the way you sing "Sway" and "She". I am a big fan of music though, my singing is best kept to myself and my shower. I love the way Damian sings, he makes me wish I was a teenager again and I love George's "Life with You" and "500 miles" and Neil's singing with Ryan and Keith, "Hallelujah" and the only thing that disappointed me was the skit where George is trying to find a husband for his daughter was not featured in the DVD, I would have loved to have seen it and hear the songs that were in the skit, like Damian singing "Look at Me". I hear you are all coming to Binghamton, New York in December and hope that I am able to come and get my ticket to your concert. I enjoy the group and the music you guys sing. Please keep up the excellent work. You guys sound great and appear to enjoy working with each other. Until, keep the Thunder rolling. I love the song "Ireland's Call" and "Celtic Thunder", too. Yay, Paul Blog! :D
CULT!!! CULT!!! CULT!!! 8D
*ahem* On that note, thanks for the awesome blog! Tweets are fun and all, but there's nothing like a nice long blog to sit back and sink your teeth into. As much as I love reading your's and the lads' tweets, I'd take a blog over a tweet any day.
You've had quite an interesting past few weeks, eh? Even if it was an inconvenience, if it wasn't for all the Volcanic Ash floating around, you wouldn't have had such an adventure and come to so many wise conclusions, would you? I guess things happen for a reason after all.
Thanks again for taking the time to post a blog for us, and I hope you have an awesome time recording with the boys in Cullybackey! For all that it's a small town, I'm sure you boys shake the place up with your shenanigans, eh? Wanna bug the other lads to post some blogs for us when you see them next?
[b]Proud to be a Canadian Thunderhead, eh?

I am always interested in
I am always interested in whatever/all that you have to say. You are a huge talent, make that a multi-talented guy whom I find of interest, as well as your career. You are a wit and are just hilarious. Enjoy your personality as it comes across through CT and your messages. Have you considered a lullaby album? I would like one recorded by you.
The more information, the better, as far as I am concerned.
Your Blog
Hi Paul!! Thanks for the blog...believe it or not we do look forward to them, despite the short Tweets! You must know we love anything you guys do...and it's nice to read the blogs. No matter what, you all will always be in our hearts. ((hugs))
volcanic ash
Good Morning Paul,
Nice to be able to read a blog or two from the gents--do not have access to twitter, facebook, etc. Sharon does a real nice job keeping the CT fans updated but really nice of you to put in your own personal touch. I just recently purchased CT's 4 cd's and I must say I love the way you sing "Nights In White Satin." Never listened to the song when sung by the Moody Blues. Am looking forward to seeing my first live performance of CT in Boston. My daughters boyfriend is Irish so I purchased 4 tickets for them to see CT in Anaheim this year. If you ever do a solo performance in the Boston area, please post a blog.
Take care.
Dolores

What had your blood boiling this week? Could it be related to the news announcement for auditions?
Love the updates!
Hi Paul! Please don't underestimate the blogs..The updates keep us wanting more Celtic Thunder. It keeps us up to date until the next tour (lol). I have not had the opportunity to respond to your blogs yet and have a few things on my mind. First, I get goose bumps when you sing You Raise Me Up! Even when I watch the DVD at home, I want to give you a standing ovation every time. I was speechless when I saw you tap dance in Doo Wacka Doo. It was totally unexpected. I was impressed, you were really good! It appears you have a great deal of fun entertaining at the concerts. You are incredibly gifted and I would never have known about you or your talents had you not joined Celtic Thunder. (reluctantly joined Celtic Thunder!) And may I add, no one tells a story like you can. You have a great sense of humor...love the interview with CBS in NY. I still go back and watch it from time to time. I have yet to see an interview with Celtic Thunder, including the PBS promos, that did not bring a smile or "laugh out loud" moment in it. It is apparent that you all respect each other/music within the group despite all the constant "slagging".The dynamics between you and the rest of the guys is truly electric. And thank you for taking the time to thank the fans. (most recently in the It's Entertainment DVD) We know that you all appreciate your audience but it also nice to hear it from time to time. Your sincerity, humor and talent have endeared you to so many, including myself. I wish you continued success with Celtic Thunder and in your own solo pursuits. I did have the opportunity to meet you during the promo trip at QVC. You and the guys signed my program from the Take Me Home Tour. You are all just as lovely in person and I for one, appreciate the connection to the fans. God Bless! Please keep us posted on your adventures. Good looks and talent too! You "swanky tenor"!
Volcanic Ash
We are certainly pleased that the ash didn't put your arse on lock down for to long. It is nice to keep in touch reading the tweets, but occationally we do like the longer blogs. Sorry, we know how busy each one of you are. Wish I'd known you were in Boston serving with our boys in blue. You are so right that they aren't shown enough (if any) respect. It's true that we don't like getting traffic tickets (not that I'm speaking from experience, ha!) but we are relieved to know they are there when we are in trouble. Thrilled to hear that CT has 2 more CDs coming out this year, also I am looking forward to seeing your show again in St. Louis in October. PBS has done a great job helping get CT made known. Thanks for taking time to blog--we really do appreciate it. Makes us feel SO SPECIAL!!!
