Holidays at home - July 8, 2010
Hello,
Am out at JFK on my way home for two weeks.
Do have work to do while I am there but other than things I have to deal with, I will be off the radar for the two weeks.
Hope everyone is enjoying their summer and has some break from work planned during the good weather.

Sharon, I just wrote a comment on Damian's blog, and I don't know if he will read it. I at least have a chance of your reading this, since you have replied to me once before.
I would like to have the name of Damian's agent - if it is you, then this is for you.
It is being talked about making a movie of Frank Sinatra's life. Harry Connick Jr. has been suggested for the part.
I would like to suggest Damian for the role. Especially in a couple of years. I think he would be a sensation as Frank Sinatra, and he would be easy to make up for the role as he ages as "Frank". If you know of who I might write to to make this suggestion, other than you, please let me know.
As far as that goes, I would like to know if Ryan has an agent other than yourself so I could make some suggestions for theatrical roles for him.
And I would like to see Paul do some duets with Renee Fleming and Sarah Brightman.

I don't actually have all the contacts I used to have 15 years ago, but I may be able to find out through some people I know.
I mainly was wanting to know if you are considered their agent, or if they have agents of their own. But I consider you the main source, and I wanted to verify it.
I won't ask how much longer they have on their present contracts; that is not my business, and I know when not to ask questions. But I'll see what I can do to push my ideas forward, and I will let you know when I can. It won't be tomorrow, but maybe by the end of the year, or early next year. I have to do some research using old information.

Anticipation & Appreciation
Have a lovely holiday, Sharon. Beginning to anticipate the fall tour - tickets just went on sale at the Fred Kavli Theatre. I'm already looking forward to November 8th. Celtic Thunder is so special. What's doubly nice is my mom said she'd like to attend the concert. Making such plans is a great wonderful gift as she's managing cancer and taking chemotherapy. With all I've been through I know Celtic Thunder is good medicine. Enjoyed celebrating my 50th year at the San Diego concert in '09 - filled with anticipation and appreciation for you all in 2010. Thanks for all your effort. Looking forward to adding the Celtic and especially the Christmas CDs to my collection. God bless.

Saw Celtic Thunder in concert Oct. 4th 2008 and April 3rd 2009!
I thought there was a concert
I thought there was a concert scheduled for Sept. 19th in NY before the Lads came to Halifax, Nova Scotia. Don't see it listed anymore. Therefore it looks like Nova Scotia will be the START of their Fall Tour. YIPPY!!!!!!!!!!!

I see where Halifax (that's us) is the 1st stop of the Fall Tour
That's so awesome, we'll be getting the Lads fresh and crisp

My 3 year old daughter is so excited to be able to see her "idol" Damian, LIVE and in person.

Hey Sharon!
Enjoy your time off. Two weeks will go by in a flash so make the most of it! Do a whole lot of nothing for the first few days then deal with whatever you have to. Hope you have wonderful weather and all goes well with your flights. Take care!
Going Home

Thanks for keeping us up to date on the latest news. I hope you have a safe trip home with no delays, lost baggage, etc. Good move leaving at this time unless Ireland is also suffering through a heat wave.
My summer so far is going great. The garden loves the warm weather so we should be enjoying fresh vegies by the time you get back. I love baseball and my favorite team is currently in first place so no complaints there either. School is out and my kids are off for the summer which leads to a lot of spur of the moment activities to enjoy and pass the time along with a couple of good books and my Celtic Thunder CDs to set the mood.
It is my hope that your time home with your family will be fun filled and restful because I don't know of anyone who deserves it more. Have a great stay and please don't do any work that can be put off for a few weeks.
