Hello,

Arrangements are not all in place but the plan is to film the Christmas Segment in Poughkeepsie in upstate NY on 17th September.
They are working out cameras etc before they can build tickets for assigned seating, will post here as soon as there is info on how to get them.

How come you are not playing at the MGM Grand at Foxwood's this time around. My wife and I have gone to all the show's and plan on going to the one when you come to Providence in December. What are the chances of taping the Celtic segment for a DVD. I would love to have that one. It was the Irish roots that first brought me to Celtic Thunder and I would most love that CD/DVD set. Looks like I see the Heritage segment twice and the Christmas segment three times. Thanks again for all the work to bring them to us.

just my opinion, understand, but unless station advertised or called their regular phone bank volunteers, like NJN did for Thursday, fans should not "show up" to see the guys. They are , to use Keith's words, "knackered" and in desperate need of sleep. Not a good time to have fans waiting outside tv stations wanting to see them. Their schedule is grueling, to say the least. August 5, Trenton NJ and Kerry and Francine and their daughters will be there; August 7, Connecticut (CPTV)- don't know if this is open to PBS supporters.

CPTV in Hartford sent an e-mail to anyone who originally pledged to get tickets for the show here in October. This meet and greet came with the price tag of a $125.00 pledge and only 30 people. I was lucky enough to get a ticket and am soooo excited.

Can't seem to get any info on where Keith and Ryan will be showing up next during this current promo tour. You would think that the PBS stations would do some promo themselves. I've contacted both of my local PBS stations (WENH - Durham, NH and WGBH - Boston) and have had zero response from them about this. Does that mean they will not be in the area? Sharon, I can not thank you enough for deciding to make a video to go with the Christmas CD. These are the only things that will be on my gift list this year. I guess you are not in need of the holiday decorations I offered you as a bribe to get you to film the Christmas Concert but, the offer still stands.
I hope the date and area for the filming are definites and that the place chosen will be easily accessible by car and handicap friendly. Then I can con my son into taking me for a ride. Would love to attend the Radio City concert but traveling to NYC by mass transit is a physical impossibility for me. Being handicapped walking even a short distance is a challenge, parking near the venue is hard to come by and the cost of tickets plus that of a limo are out of my price range.
No Matter how all it developes I can still look forward to having a new CD and DVD to enjoy and that alone makes me very happy.
Thanks again for all you do to keep us fans happy and may God continue to bless you, your family and the entire Celtic Thunder group.
