Hi Guys.
So for my holidays, Me and my mum and dad went to Marbella.
I had no idea what to expect there, never heard much about it, but now i have been there....i will be back several times! 
It all started early on a wednesday morning. I didn't need a wake up call to catch my flight, because we left the house at 1.30am, therefore i got Zero sleep 
I have to admit though, when i got to Belfast airport, it seemed worthwhile already because i got a 4am Ulster Fry. And everybody in CT knows i love my breakfast fries. Can't beat them!! 
So our flight was at 6am, we got there around 9, and had a bit of a nightmare with our transfer in Spain to the hotel, but eventually we decided jumping in a taxi would be the best option after our man didn't turn up!
We got to the apartment, and it was the most unbelievable thing i have ever seen, we could have had 10 people in the thing instead of 3. It was ENORMOUS!! And our balcony was on the beach, it was incredible. I purposely left my labtop at home, because i wanted a week away from everything. I just felt like i needed time to recharge the batteries, so i had no contact with the outside world. I have to admit it was hard, but i feel like i benefited from it
So for the first 2-3 days my routine was get up, eat some breakfast then go a walk and get my papers, come back and sit on the balcony for a few hours and read them....eat some lunch 
....then we went to the beach. Puerto Banus was amazing. It was almost like a little village were i was staying. 2 minutes away from me was a Port, with boats everywhere, i always said my dream would be to live on a boat in the middle of the ocean hahah....could be a long way away!! 
The cars that drove by were unreal, Ferrari's, lamborghini's....it had everything. Famous faces everywhere, seen a few footballers too
Then a on a night out, the rest of the holiday was shaped. We met a group of people from derry, who had a villa out there. For the next 3 days, i was with a huge group of people in a villa in spain, couldn't believe me luck!!
We had a massive night out, hit the clubs in spain. Have to say, was one of the best nights out i have ever had!! My dance moves were out in FULL FORCE ....I'll just give you a hint of what they are.....Stacking shelves, changing light bulbs, cutting the grass and sending the letters to name a few. Dangerous moves they are!!!! :L EVERYTIME i go out, i get the same question....."Are you drunk?".....
I don't know if thats a good thing or bad thing, but the answer is always "NAW!!!....Just enjoying meself!!"
Needless to say them dance moves will never be unveiled on a CT stage....i would not put you through it!
Then i got a text from Mr.Byrom.....yes that's right he contacted me, i am hearing other stories about that and a Byrom fix hahah!!
Anyway we arranged to go out for a bite to eat as we were staying close each other. So it was a great night with him and The lovely Dominique, and a few other young Coulters too...was great craic!!
I'm sure Paul would agree when i say It's great to be able to meet up on a social scale!...And not before a promo tour our 50 date tour!!! Makes a nice change. So that was a great night, good to get a catchup, after being apart for about 3 weeks!!!!!!!!!! :L
My last night i went to an amusement park with our group, AND i went into a haunted house....it was the SCARIEST haunted house i have EVER been in.....real people!! And this guy chased me with an axe for about 400 metres....i hate to say it, but i screamed like a big girl I was scared
It was then time for me to say bye!!!...."I'll see you all next week"
They are home on tuesday, and i am looking forward to seeing them.
I reluctantly came home on wednesday morning, and opened my labtop to about 50 URGENT emails!!!...only away a week, and everything seemed to happen at once. I was emailing for about 2 hours.....sorting things out for the tour! Mad stuff.
Thursday night i went to my uncle's house....and had a good night there....he is mad!!...enjoys the craic, and is in a joint partnership with my dad over my singing career!!
On a more negative note, i think i have picked up Conor's disease.....sitting here with a sore throat, really sore!
Or maybe i can blame that on last nights antics in derry!
I now look ahead to the tour, and i am starting to get excited about it.
Very very sad though about the departures of some people in the band....
I love touring, and this is a long one, so i can't wait. At my age, although i get homesick, i have no real responsibilities in Derry, so i do look forward to going away, no matter how long it is!!...And i look forward to spending time with the guys on the road too....
And i am hitting the big 18 in a months time too.....i find it mad to be honest. Time is FLYING!!!
At the minute too....in my head i am making huge decisions about the next year, if i get through my final year at college, then it will be time to start thinking about University, and if my teacher thinks i am good enough for somewhere big in the states or London, then i will be stupid not to give it some serious thought.....But i'll let you know how that goes....lets get my grades first!
As i bid farewell, i wanna tease use a little...
I am currently lying here listening to CT christmas and Heritage, learning the material for the Tour in a few weeks, and i have to say.....it is gonna be a great show!! ....Alot of Variety in there...and i think the new albums will be some of the best we have ever produced!
Time for me to sleep, up early for a run then off to watch my brother in a race.
So for now, i bid u farewell!

i do agree with you when you said that time is flying by. i turned 18, too this year-i don't feel any different but i guess soon i will.
I think it's really awesome that you got to go to Spain for a break. I always wanted to go there and i still do. That's a fantastic idea on how to relax.. no outside communication
The education system in Ireland is much different then America. I'm guessing that you go to college first after secondary school then go into an university. That's sounds way better than how it is in the states.

Damian just wanted to wish you a very memorable 18th! Thanks for ending the last day of your 17th year on QVC for all the CT fans to watch and enjoy. I caught some of the wonderful performance and very much looking foward to the Christmas CD which I ordered from QVC. As of 11:15 PM EST, QVC mentioned that they HAVE ONLY 300 CDS LEFT!!!! All 6 of you lads looked and sounded terriffic, glad to have Neal up front and part of the main vocals of the group! May the long road of the 2010 tour be a safe journey ahead. (Sad to see the Long Island, NY tour date removed. CT will surely be missed here. Hope you all will return on your next tour.) Thanks to you and CT for sharing your talents for all to truly enjoy!

Have you ever heard of RANCHO CUCAMONGA? It is located in Southern California. That is where my husband and I live. We love your music and watch your DVD's frequently. Our two granddaughters absolutely LOVE CT (except Paul, they call him MR.Opera) I have watched for your concerts and found one in San Diego (about 65+ miles) on Nov 5th a few months ago...We bought tickets for the two of us and the two granddaughters who love CT. Now I see there are also tickets available in Anaheim which is closer (only 40 miles) to us... That is ok... We will be seeing you in November. Happy Birthday! The big 18! Have fun! One of my grandson's will be 17 on the Sept 9th....

Just a quick "Happy Birthday" to an incredible young man. You deserve to celebrate this major milestone in your life. Your musical and social impact on young people here in the states is nothing short of AMAZING, and is a direct reflection of who you are as a gentleman!!!! My grandson has really come a long way since we discovered you and all the CT music. His Asperger's has been more manageable and he says he can finally listen to music and his ears don't hurt. He is learning about Irish and Scottish cultures and is thinking about learning Gaelic. This music is almost therapeutic for our children with Autism and on behalf of all parents of these miracle children, THANK-YOU for this gift, you and all the gentlemen of CT give so sweetly. We look forward to the show in Detroit.It will be my grandson's first professional concert,and my birthday present, so I will be on point to have a good time and I will enjoy seeing how much you have grown since the last PBS taping. hi damian! i am a big fan of CT. i had heart surgery and i wanted 2 tell u how much u and CT helped me get thorough it. so thanks 4 being an inspiration to this irish girl! i hope in the future there could be a canadian only tour and a contest like the one for americans. i want to see u guys on tour someday, maybe even a meet&greet so u can show me ur awesome dance moves! ahaha lol.

Have faith in yourself with school! If I can do it, you can do it! I work full time, take classes full time, mom full time and participate with church and charity. I am not an A student but my grades aren't too bad. From what I have read about your grades while on tour you are more disciplined than I am!
As with everyone else, we can't wait to see you on tour. On your 1st tour I was lucky enough to get center row 6 but this time I am way back on the floor. I am bringing my boss, my sister & my son's babysitter with her son and daughter.

I hope you have a good Birthday and don't let the other guy push you around to much you can stand up to them. Me maybe not so much but you sure can! I turn SIXTEEN on December second. I can't wait! Hi Damo, such a busy lad and I know you wouldn't have it other way, but I must say you had my head spinning. LOL!!! The vacation with your parents and the group you met there sounds wonderful - it's good to know that you left your laptop behind because that is hard to do! I did that last week and so glad that I did because I had great fun with two of my friends in the Florida Keys. If it had been there I would have been up all night after they went to bed, catching up on things.
I love reading about your footy, football, golf, running. So much energy and excitment. Way to go!!! That is awesome the golf is improving - that's not an easy one by no means! Hopefully, you can fit in some rounds while on tour. I think you'd enjoy doing the video blog especially since you guys will be making some many stops this time - won't be a dull moment! Oh, I got chased out of a haunted house at the very end by a guy with a chain saw and it scared me to death...even though you know they don't have the blade on it, it's still frightening. haha!
