Long frustrating week - August 21, 2010
Not a great work week, lots of long meetings, lots of frustration trying to get things done.
Am bailing out, literally, for a few hours, going to try sky diving!
Better plan than annihilating someone (several someones), which is what I was feeling most of the week

Sorry about your week
I'm sorry you had such a bad week, but hopefully that means it could only get better. Looks like you had a great time skydiving so hopefully that made up for the bad week.
Take care,
Lea
spokane
Are the tickets ever going to be available for Spokane? I don't mind donating to PBS, but I'd rather buy the tickets and donate to my local station station.
Spokane tickets are available
Spokane tickets are available through the venue's website now:

It's a New Week
Hi Sharon: Always remember today is a new day with no mistakes made in it yet and there's always something good that comes from bad. This is a new week, it will be better than last. Have a safe trip across the pond. See you in Sept./Oct. Take care my friend

Skydiving?!
Sharon, You are braver than me! Glad you landed-looking forward to results of your hard work with CT. I'll be seeing you in December! Stay safe and stay on the ground-Margie-Ann
Next week
Sharon -- I know next week will be better than last -- things are coming together, I'm sure. And, all you can do is your best and hope others can help along the way. We all know the tremendous job that you have and that you do it very well. Keep it up.
Hope you had fun skydiving.
Hope you had fun skydiving. Personally, I've never felt a need to step out of a perfectly good airplane!

Sharon, girl, you are scaring me! Methinks you have been around these CT guys too long, now. Since it works for you, go for it whenever. Love and appreciate you. You never stop entertaining us!
Sharon: I am sorry to hear
Sharon: I am sorry to hear you had such a bad week. I know there MUST BE ALOT of behind the stage things that need ironing out before the concerts. BUT just keep it real. In this day and age it seems everyone wants perfection but I say "What will be will be". Even if they missed a note, went off key, whatever--it's not the end of the world. Remember, WE ARE NOT PERFECT PEOPLE and just keep doing your thing and continue on (it's that simple) the people will either like what they see and get or not) I am not a fussy, pick apart person--you are kind enough to come to our areas and I always love what is done. Hope this week will be a better wk. for you.

Sky Diving
Hi Sharon, That sky diving really sounds like a great experience. I'm not sure if my heart will take it or not. I am 77, so I had better ask my doctor first. I'm sure that it really gets frustating just before a tour trying to co-ordinate everything. I am looking forward to for the tour to stop in Chicago. I went to the show last year at the Rosemont Horizon. It was great. The Chicago Threatre will be much better for me. I can take the train in from Indiana and walk to the threatre. Take care Sharon, and I will keep you in my prayers. God Bless, love and prayers, Bill, Gary, Indiana
Sky Diving
It's brilliant, and idiot proof, seriously a child could do it, no bother. I loved it, going to do it again, lots if I can!
It was totally random, the guy who hosts and looks after this website showed up when I was waiting, turns out he's a pro sky diver so came up with me and the instructor, loads of fun, not a bit scary. Definitely recommend it.
They did take pics and videos, no idea how to get them from the discs to online but our web guy is going to do it for me.
NOT glamorous, images of a person skydiving by the way, altitude, hair in pony tail and wind factors all less than attractive but worth every second of it, it's really amazing and in the free-fall part before the parachute, it totally dissolves any thought processes, stress everything, sorry I didn't discover it years ago.

Geronimo!!!!
Sharon,
Glad you let it all out and went skydiving! My son did that a few weeks ago (not telling me until afterwards of course!) Hope you got a cool t-shirt for being brave and celebrated with some champagne afterwards!
You deserve this (and so much more) for all the long hours you have spent getting all the promos and this tour together!!
Your dedication knows no bounds and I appreciate it so much! Take care and hope to see you soon!
All the best,

Maybe you should be pushing a few someones out of the plane instead.
frustration
hey sharon,
tried to find a really inspiring quote for you on frustration but couldn't find one. Guess that means frustration is just that---frustrating. I suppose the frustrating weeks are what make the other weeks so great because we have something at the bad end of the scale to compare to. Getting through them and coming out on the other side to a better week makes it more bearable. Please know that we all know that without your constant work Celtic Thunder would not be. There are thousands of us out here that if we could have helped you out all week, we would have. Have fun and be good to yourself for a bit. Thanks for all you do.

Frustration
Sharon -- Go off and enjoy yourself -- sky diving might be just the ticket! Can't think of anything else but what you're doing in the moment and that is the most relaxing thing! All of your hard work is definitely appreciated. I echo a previous post about the lads bringing the talent and charm, but you and Phil make it all happen. Thank you for all you do and enjoy a fantastic day off.
Oh for heavens sake, Sharon.
Oh for heavens sake, Sharon. LOL
I hope there is lots of pictorial evidence of this later, that's all I'm saying!
Thanks!

Frustration
Sharon, As a CT fan from day-one, I have watched the group grow and have so much respect for you and Phil in all your endeavors. The boys furnish the talent (and looks and charm), but we know that you two are the wind beneath their wings, and make it all happen.
Take a deep breath....scream.....have a cheesecake then take a look at all CT's accolades. Maybe this will help the frustration - if not, go ahead and annihilate those 'certain someones'!!!!! Ha.
Just Breathe & Don't crash!
I've heard skydiving is actually a great release of tension! Ryan went bungee jumping, and I have a friend who's done the skydiving thing! Both have said what a rush each are! Hope you have fun & are able to get some peace of mind from the adrenaline.
