All Go now! - September 5, 2010

Hello,

Everyone in preparation now to be on the road for months.

Guys getting packed up and ready to travel with QVC first this week.

Packing is always a pain, you invariably end up packing too much and still end up forgetting something you need.

Do bear in mind on this tour, airlines have gone ridiculous in terms of baggage allowance so there is no way the guys are going to be able to pack and bring home any gifts with them. Please don't bring gifts to the venues, it is a criminal waste to do that and then have them have to leave them because they can't pack them.

Either send them to their PO Boxes in Ireland and Scotland or, which is better and really appreciated, make a donation to our African Charity instead and bring a note for the guys saying you have done that.

Yes Sharon I have already sent a donation to the African Charity in May. So many people could use the money in so many different ways. I am sure the Lads would understand completely and would very much encourage this be done.

24 hours before the first showing.

I'm ready to hear the new CD and attend the concert in October at the Fabulous Fox

hey ct i just read that u guys r going to be on qvc for rose of tralee can't wait for the christmas album i'll be their watching and buying ur cd and if by some chance they have a dvd with that cd lets add that to my collection can't wait for the sept. 8 th serval didn't times so tell the fans that they r going to be on the q.

No promotion on QVC?

Just one thing because I know you're busy...we've been calling and emailing QVC every week since the St. Patrick's Day show asking for information about the guys being on the Rose of Tralee Celebration. Even after calling three times this week,and today we were still told that CT was not scheduled for that show. Nowhere on the QVC website, Twitter or facebook page is there any promotion for CT or CT's music on the Rose of Tralee show. One of the hosts has mentioned a few of the Irish vendors, but absolutely nothing about CT.

With the tremendous success of CT in March on QVC, would have thought they'd be promoting the group like crazy!

Anyway, so glad the lads are going to be there again and hope all goes well!Smile Safe travels to all!

For anyone who wants the itm number for the Christmas CD/Celtic Thunder DVD, its F08993 The Christmas CD has bonus songs on it one just for qvc. I have tried to bring it up on qvc.com but couldnt but i was able to order by itm number thru regular ordering. The itm was in the inside q monthly magazine that came out for September. Cant wait to get it! Smile

I used the PO Box address to send some Steeler garb to Paul. He had spent a day in Pittsburgh looking for some, so I grabbed him some when I was there. Sent it to the PO Box, and it came back unclaimed. Any ideas on how else to send it.

Hi Sharone, I just wished Damian a happy Birthday. He is so great. I do agree with you about the gifts. I hope the fans will take your advice. They can send dirctly to Ireland and Scotland, and also make a donation to the charity in Africa. This is what I am doing. I have donated once before. I'm looking forward to seeing the lads in Chicago next month. I have been waiting since last year. I'm wondering if there is going to be cds and dvds of the Christmas and Celtic shows available at the concerts. Was there a dvd made of the show Storm? I'm looking forward to seeing that one also. I hope people listen & don't bring gifts. Can't imagine they keep everything that's given to them. It would be a shame to have to leave gifts behind. The charity idea is a much better one. Start donating peeps. Smile
