Hello,
All starts now. The Artists are starting their promo work.
The crew fly in today to start technical set ups, rehearsals etc. Building the new sets, marking them out to set up and break down easily each day on the tour. Programming the lighting for all the songs in all the Acts for the tour.
Setting up and programming the PA
Wardrobe and Make Up sorting costumes, wardrobe cases.
The initial orders for merchandise worked out and put in.
There's a huge amount to be done, it's always organised chaos but it's always fun too.
Will be very busy the next two weeks but will blog when I can.

Excited over the new show. Saw the lads on QVC yesterday and bought the Christmas cd. Can't wait to get it and listen to it, even though it's only Sept. When will the Heritage cd be out? Hope you all have a safe tour. See you Oct.22nd and hope many more times in the years to come.

xmas album on qvc
the guys were terrific and obviously having a lot of fun singing their song. ordered the CD on qvc and i am anxious to get it and listen to the album. as all Celtic Thunder albums i am sure this one will be fantastic. Can't wait for their concert here in October.

Celtic Thunder Christmas
I just ordered the Celtic Thunder Christmas album from QVC! So excited! 1,000 had already been sold even before CT appeared on the air. The guys were fantastic! They look amazing and sounded sooooo good! This holiday season will indeed be "the most wonderful time of the year" with Celtic Thunder singing in my ear! Can't wait for the Tour!

CT on Long Island & Music Book
Sharon I know this is probably the worst possible time to ask but should I continue to hope that the Lads will be performing somewhere on Long Island, NY on this tour? When you sent out the information for the contest one was listed for Uniondale, NY which appeared on the tour list and then disappeared.
Completely unrelated to the above, I would also like to know if a second book of sheet music will be available in the near future. I purchased the first one from your site and enjoy playing the songs and am hoping for book #2 with additional music.
Just finished watching the lads on QVC, WOW!! The Christmas album is terrific and I am so very happy I don't have to wait until October to get mine.

I must say I am a complete fan of Celtic Thunder since I first saw them on our local PBS station WTTW 11 in Chicago about 3 years ago. I have all your current CD's and two DVD's along with great seat for the September 23 concert at the Chicago Theater. I have one request. I want to meet Ryan. Oh my, he is just wonderfully adorable and when he sings "Bad Bad Leroy Brown" I just get goosebumps watching him. I might add I have a thing for good looking guys in hats. What could be better. Any, if there is anyway to meet him before or following the 8 O'clock show, please let me know. I have posted, promoted, and just generally told everyone I know about Celtic Thunder. What an entertaining and exciting performance. But you know there is something about Ryan's crocked smile that is just adoring. I am not some crazy fan. Just a 46 year old women who has listened to Celtic Thunder exclusively since beginning a job with quite a commute. Somedays it is 2 hours and I just sing and listen all the way to and from work. Waiting to purchase the Christmas CD from QVC. I am sure it will be awesome. And then there is "Danny Boy", "Christmas in 1915", and Keith singing his "not so sad song" They are all wonderful. Thank you for bringing together such an entertaining and relate-able group of men.

Wow, what alot of work!! Many thanks to all that make Celtic Thunder's tours work. We love you all from the crew up to the Lads, Phil and Sharon. You all make it work wonderfully for the legend of fans that are waiting for their shows. Safe travels and see you in November in Anaheim! PS..I didn't want to interrupt watching QVC to order the CD, so I did it yesterday. Then ordered another set today. Can't wait to hear it!

Hi Sharon, Thanks so much for taking the time to let us know the details and what is happening. I'm so excited about this tour season. I have tickets for Chicago; Durham, NC; Atlanta, GA; and Charlotte, NC. I'm ready to go and I have meet and greets for three of the concerts. Thank you for keeping us in the loop with updates they are very important to fans to keep the blood boiling with excietment. Hope all goes as smooth as it can. I agree the behind scenes on IE was great anbd hope theres more of it on the Christmas DVD and Storm. To see the lads playing basketball or just fooling around rehersal or such.

There is so much that goes into each show besides the lads' performances. Thank you to the many crews who do all those tasks. We rarely express our appreciation to them.

Thank you for the little details you provide to keep us up to date. Most of us couldn't even imagine the amount of work it takes to get a production like this ready to tour. I can't seem to get enough of Celtic Thunder and I"m so happy that it's almost tour season again. I"m going to RCMH and both Chicago shows! Also pre-ordered the Christmas cd from QVC already. Can't wait to give it a listen!

You should check out It's Entertainment, the extras have that. IT is fun to watch, don't think I could see more than 15 minutes though. Reminds me a lot of my old job.
