I've been checking the TV schedules almost every day waiting for Storm to come up on either of our PBS stations in Tampa. According to the guide on my TV Storm is supposed to be on this coming Friday, October 21 at noon on WUSF. I checked the WUSF website as well to make sure. If you skip ahead in their schedule on the website it shows it, but it didn't show up in a search.
About a week and a half ago, my TV guide said it was supposed to be on, but I couldn't find it on their website and that evening when I checked the guide on the TV again it was gone. So, hopefully, that won't happen again. I just wanted to let you all know in case it does actually come on.
Still don't know about it airing on WEDU though.
By the way, the concert in Tampa was amazing. The guys were great and it was wonderful to hear and see them live. They play off of each other so well. I loved when Keith (I think it was him) cracked Emmet up during The Irish Rover. And the way they teased with Daniel was really cute. It was awesome to get to meet some of them after the show too. We got pictures with and autographs from George, Ryan and Emmet. Keith was pretty well surrounded, so I only got a few pictures of him over the crowd. We never saw Daniel or Neil. Overall, it was probably my best concert experience and I can't wait for another one!

wow Sarasota was a sell out and the most entergetic I have seen a audiance in a long time far cry over Tampa the night before so glad I did both shows. Now packing to go to Kanasa city so exceited too bad hubby can't go lol. Loved meeting the guys at the bus it was great liked it better than even meeting Ryan and Emmet at the M&M which I felt rushed being second ones to go up. they seemd so much more relaxed at the buses then at the M&M. Love both new lads and the new concept of songs for the show.
only thing I have bad to say is that the band played great but didn't look as good as usualy. I didn't like that the bag pipe guy taking over for Brenden just sat all the time and in a kilt which was not pleasant to look at or up and he had no spirit and the piano player/ music director same thing thought tuning up on stage at beginining of show once CT was announced was bad did it at both shows and the way he requested applause for the band at end of show was childish and the way he directed each beat for Delcan was like a music teacher in high school not a professinal group. He never seemed to move with the beat or get into the music himslef like David did.
Best show other than take me home that the lads have done I couldn't talk after leaving thought the roof was going to come off it was so loud and fun.
just really miss the jigs and jives David and Breden that they put into the show sorry to see it missing the band is a big part of the show to me as well as the lads.
Barry is awesome, this is his second tour with CT and I missed him so much!!! He is a very talented musician and artist. The uilleann pipes which he plays require being played in the sitting position - http://www.aniar.net/pipes.html.

Not talking one instrument or him just sitting even Delcan sits and so do the girls but you can see them into the music and I am sorry never said anything about his music they played and sounded great talking about thier appearance and fun emotion that was missing from Brenden and Davids preformances. we agree to disagree just my view of what I saw compared to last year but thanks for reading my comment and giving your view. Hoping you guys send your photos & vids to Keith to be posted on Keith's fb. I saw wonderful video and pix on devices of those in front of me at the astounding event. The whole experience was wonderful! An evening I will never, ever forget. I just couldn't pull out of the voices, the accompaniment, I was entrapped, entangled in the whole music of each moment to take a photo.

Just checked out seats avaiable in Tmapa and you are so right can't believe 12 days before show and you can still get seats center and only 7 rows from stage. It sure isn't lack of CT fans but could be lack of orginzation on PBS part. I am a thunderhead and never miss a CT show or TV spot and really actually had to call PBS to get tickets couldn't even find the CT show on TV guide during the month of March. So if Me someone looking for it can't find it how was the genreal public to find it . i know I was told it was on but you could fool me.
But than what worries me is they will say CT doesn't bring in enough money so no show next tour. Ft myers did that in 09 and has not has a show since and there reason was the CT company made money and the venue made money but they couldn't sell the tickets on PBS and had to give most of them away.
I see this a problem for Tampa PBS just like some one messes up on the M&M this year. PBS says it was the pronotor but either way the fans suffer.
Last year the same PBS station did Clearwater and you saw info and Show pledge week every where so what went wrong this year.

Hi all! I'm going to the Tampa show on Oct. 13 and taking my sister with me. Although I've been a fan for a while, it's my first live show. I'm so excited!
I just checked the Straz Center Website and there are still a ton of tickets available. According to the choose your seat option on the Straz website, there are at least 100 tickets still available in the front orchestra section alone! Does anyone know if the tickets sell more closer to the performance date? I'm a little concerned. I haven't seen much in the way of advertisement here either.
Anyone here going to this show? I'd love to meet some other Thunderheads in person.

I couldn't even get tickets two months before show last time in Clearwater seems strange there are so many tickets open for Florida shows. Ct is loved here. I have not seen anything on PBS , TV or the venues news letters about CT at all. Even the PBS station has shown very little of CT on thier promos. Never did see storm. Missed the March show on PBS completly but was told they did show them and I watched for it but nothing. Did see them a few time in one week in august. I think the PBS station really blew it this year they didn't even sell or offer M&M so they ended up giving them away. I know becuase I got them for Sarasota and a fellow fan Janice got them for Tampa. I just worry if not sold out they won't be back. Will be at both shows come by and say hi first pit row center seats at either show just look for short heavy set couple and hubby will have on green hat that he has worn to all shows since the beginning.

I thought we were supposed to get Storm on either WEDU or WUSF this month, but neither station has it on their schedule and I've been checking almost every day for any changes. Still nothing! I was wondering how people got M&M passes when I hadn't seen anything about the tour anywhere. Straz Center has CT on their home page, but I think I've only seen mention of them in their email newsletters twice. Once way back when the tickets went on sale and then once at the beginning of this month. I really hope this doesn't cause problems for booking in Tampa in the future because I don't think I'll be able to travel around to see them if they can't make it to Tampa after this tour. The only way I'd get to see them is if the timing was just right and I could visit my sister Jackie in Atlanta at the same time that we go to their concert. I just did that for the Celtic Woman taping of Believe in Atlanta last month. Oh well, I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
My sister Jessica and I will be in Row C seats 5&6 (I think! I'll have to double check). We'll come say hi at some point.

I have seen nothing on PBS either station and I have been watching. I know one thing it is early and that has caused some people not to be able to go. I don't mean early as in hour but in month. there are a lot of snow birds that come to our area and have been going to CT concerts but not in Oct. they don't get here until first of Nov and then they can go. I wrote to Sharon about bad publicity and too early in season and to please consider than in this years ticket sales and next years tour.
See you in Tampa not famliar with the threater so we are center row one but have no idea if there is also a pit row in front of row one. Just llok for a man and women short old and stout.

Counting the days till the show. Sitting here now in fact and thinking about looking for tickets to the Hollywood Hard Rock show but all so far back since so late. Sometimes fans can't go and have great seats so checking daily to see if that option comes up. With Ryan gone I didn't plan on attending that many shows this year . Got the PBS ones before he went was going to sell them but figured George and Keith needed thunderhaed support but didn't pick up other tickets now waiting it out to see if any good ones come up . Have read that many people get great seats last year last minute so we will see.
I was so worried but it is a mistake on PBS part I can forgive telling me they were sent and than sending them much later after the calls. But with free M&M I forgive them for the nervous break down I almost had lol
did you say you were going to the Tampa show or both sorry I forgot where about are you in Florida. Familiar with naples to gainsville so just wondering. I have been here 10 yrs came from ohio

Since I didn't buy tickets to the Sarasota M & G, I've been waiting for a few days and hoping that someone would reply to your inquiry. But since no one has responded, I'll jump in with my two cents. The PBS station should have a list of people who donated with the expectation of receiving M & G tickets as a gift. Presuming the tickets are individually identifiable - have your name or a ticket number on them or row/seat assignment - then the station/venue should be able to tag those tickets and require an ID from the individual/s who try to use them. If someone other than you tries to use the tickets, they can be confiscated. (Hope that makes sense.)
Good luck - I hope you get to the M & G and the show at the Van Wezel. From the reveiws so far, sounds like this year's show is once again totally amazing!!!

I didn't buy Meet and mingles The Tampa PBS station gave them away to both the Sarasota show and the Tampa show by random. wow we a lot of us fans lucky or what free meet and mingles now if only George and Ryan are the lads in Sarasota things couldn't get any betetr than that.
But I am surprised no one on here going to either show apparently which worries me if they don't sell out and make money for all concerned they won't come back
this is the first year for Sarasota and really no promotion for the lads until this past week when the Venues season book went out.
Even our PBS didn't do as many shows for the pledges as I see other stations doing and did.
I have called them PBS many times past weeks and this time they said they were mailed 5 days ago but just got them today with yesterdays postmark. Which tells me I finally got the right person to take another look and apprently realize they had not been sent like they were suppose to be weeks ago. so all is well in the land of CT for me. Will be 1st row center at both shows yea

Nice to see some other people on here going to the show! My twin sister and I are in the 2nd row? (B) orchestra section. We live in the Daytona Beach area and this will be our second CT concert in Jax. Its a great venue I think and we decided after last years show that we shoud HAD to go back! We got closer seats this year which is even better! Do any of you have Meet n Greets? I would love to have them, but my sister and I just can't afford them being college students. When it came down to paying tuition or for Meet n Greets, I had to give up the meet n greets. Oh well! I'm sure it will be a fab time once again. Hope to meet some of you there!

My sister is coming down again for the third time from Richmond,Va to go with me the SHOW this Fall. We are so excited and have "Meet and Greet" tickets and will be wearing our Ryan t-shirts!!! Hope the other guys don't mind, but I don't think they will.

For anyone getting tickets to sarasota that has not been to Van Weezel there are no bad seats. It is a smaller hall than usualy and designed so every seat in the house has a great view. Went tpo see Bill Crosby there and had 12th row right side and could see perfect. Just a little FYI

Sometimes fans can't go and have great seats so checking daily to see if that option comes up. With Ryan gone I didn't plan on attending that many shows this year . Got the PBS ones before he went was going to sell them but figured George and Keith needed thunderhaed support but didn't pick up other tickets now waiting it out to see if any good ones come up . Have read that many people get great seats last year last minute so we will see.
I was so worried but it is a mistake on PBS part I can forgive telling me they were sent and than sending them much later after the calls. But with free M&M I forgive them for the nervous break down I almost had lol
did you say you were going to the Tampa show or both sorry I forgot where about are you in Florida. Familiar with naples to gainsville so just wondering. I have been here 10 yrs came from ohio

Sarasota show tickets
PBS thinks my tickets to the van wezel in oct are lost and they have no idea if they can replace them since they are meet and mingles. What I am wondering has anyone else gotten thier tickets yet

Hi Joan,
Since I didn't buy tickets to the Sarasota M & G, I've been waiting for a few days and hoping that someone would reply to your inquiry. But since no one has responded, I'll jump in with my two cents. The PBS station should have a list of people who donated with the expectation of receiving M & G tickets as a gift. Presuming the tickets are individually identifiable - have your name or a ticket number on them or row/seat assignment - then the station/venue should be able to tag those tickets and require an ID from the individual/s who try to use them. If someone other than you tries to use the tickets, they can be confiscated. (Hope that makes sense.)
Good luck - I hope you get to the M & G and the show at the Van Wezel. From the reveiws so far, sounds like this year's show is once again totally amazing!!!

thank you for replying. It seems not many fans on here from Florida too often as you can tell by the dates.
I didn't buy Meet and mingles The Tampa PBS station gave them away to both the Sarasota show and the Tampa show by random. wow we a lot of us fans lucky or what free meet and mingles now if only George and Ryan are the lads in Sarasota things couldn't get any betetr than that.
But I am surprised no one on here going to either show apparently which worries me if they don't sell out and make money for all concerned they won't come back
this is the first year for Sarasota and really no promotion for the lads until this past week when the Venues season book went out.
Even our PBS didn't do as many shows for the pledges as I see other stations doing and did.
I have called them PBS many times past weeks and this time they said they were mailed 5 days ago but just got them today with yesterdays postmark. Which tells me I finally got the right person to take another look and apprently realize they had not been sent like they were suppose to be weeks ago. so all is well in the land of CT for me. Will be 1st row center at both shows yea

to Storm DVD. My mother and I received our tickets to
the show kind of late also, but we were also LUCKY enough
to recieve M&M,so excited. Now hoping and praying Keith
does a show here in November. Were sitting on row BB,seats 5&6,
best seats we've had yet .

Nice to see some other people on here going to the show! My twin sister and I are in the 2nd row? (B) orchestra section. We live in the Daytona Beach area and this will be our second CT concert in Jax. Its a great venue I think and we decided after last years show that we shoud HAD to go back! We got closer seats this year which is even better! Do any of you have Meet n Greets? I would love to have them, but my sister and I just can't afford them being college students.
When it came down to paying tuition or for Meet n Greets, I had to give up the meet n greets. Oh well! I'm sure it will be a fab time once again. Hope to meet some of you there!

I'm in row 4 in the pit section. I'm in Middleburg just outside of Jacksonville. My mom and my best friend are going with me as long as they can get off work. This is my first CT concert and my Christmas present all rolled into one. Are you coming in for the show or do you live here as well?

For anyone getting tickets to sarasota that has not been to Van Weezel there are no bad seats. It is a smaller hall than usualy and designed so every seat in the house has a great view. Went tpo see Bill Crosby there and had 12th row right side and could see perfect. Just a little FYI

wow only 20 minutes away thank you CT and Sharon for coming to our area!!! You will love the Van Wezel Threater 5 shows planned again for this year all 4 in florida and one in Charlotte, SC can't wait for tickets to go on sale. I called threater and they said they don't get fall schedule until Sept. way too close to Oct 14th does anyone know if PBS in Tampa will be selling them for Tampa and Sarasota I have called the station but never get a live person and nothing on thier web site
